Amarillo Botanical Gardens Luncheon. The Amarillo botanical gardens hosted their annual Christmas luncheon Wednesday December 3rd. This year’s theme was "A Butterfly Christmas." Guests enjoyed door prizes, a Christmas sing along with James Gardner and an early preview of the new botanical gardens gift shop. Doris Alexander was the committee chair of this popular and well-attended fundraising event.

WCRR Ranch Expo. At this year's WCRR Ranch Expo, the Rainbow Ranch of Deming, N.M. was named the 2008 world champion. View this exciting photo gallery.

Christmas Roundup. Presented by the Amarillo Symphony Guild, this year's Christmas Roundup took place November 6-9 at the Civic Center.

Nutcracker Ball. The Nutcracker Ball took place on November 8th, and the theme was a Masquerade Ball. All the money raised went to the Lonestar Ballet.

Faity City Ministries Dinner. The best-selling author, William P. Young, spoke about his successful book, The Shack at this year's Faith City Ministries dinner. View this photo gallery of the event.

Best of Amarillo. In October, local businesses were honored as picks for the "Best of Amarillo 2008."

Poinsettia Luncheon. The Children's Learning Center held its annual Poinsettia Luncheon on December 11.
